Just had a takeaway service Absolutely Gorgeous food , delivered at the time we ordered for 7.30 ......& Danny was our delivery guy who could ask for more .... 30 yrs we have eaten & ordered takeaways first the Raj & now renamed Dostana fab Xxx
Great service and the food was delicious, so much choice ranging from the usual curries, chefs specials and the Mumbai street food. Definitely will go again.
We arrived as a group of 12, quite late and close to closing time, but were warmly welcomed by the owner, AJ. He went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. The food was fantastic — we ordered Butter Chicken, Samosas, Onion Bhaji, Chicken Pakora, Monkfish Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Fried Rice, Mushroom Rice, and some draught beers. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully cooked. Service was just as impressive as the food. AJ personally made sure everything ran smoothly, and it really made the experience feel extra special. One of the best Indian restaurants we’ve tried — highly recommended!
Last time I visited here , it was called the Raj! Probably 20 years ago. A number of my friends had spoken of how good it was so thought I would give it a try. Went for takeaway. Had a lovely atmosphere, was very busy. I met Ali the owner who proudly showed me a photo of himself outside when it was called the Raj. Asked him for a recommendation for a main course and he suggested Chicken Naga Bhuna. Was superb, very flavourful with plenty of chicken but not for the faint hearted! While I waited I had a couple of Cobra IPA beers. Never had Cobra pale ale before but it was excellent! Ali looked after me like a regular and I wish I hadn’t waited that long before giving Dostana a try. Would recommend without hesitation.
Amazing food and service ! We loved their Mumbai Street menu. I ordered the lamb chops for my main and they were absolutely huge, tender and full of flavour. I highly recommend you order the chat bombs , they are the best we've ever had. Lots of choice and a beautiful restaurant.
Wow, restaurant was beautiful and food was amazing! Got well looked after by Ehsan and the team! Highly recommend this place, loved the fact they had an option for traditional Indian food and street food too! 5 stars from me!
What a memorable experience. Delicious food cooked with care and important details (homemade paneer; expertly cooked food). The staff was kind, friendly, genuine and helpful (AJ pictured here). We had such a wonderful meal and time here. Highly recommend, and for context, it was recommended to us by a local who we met while walking in the neighborhood.
Party of five including children. Everyone loved their meals, the food was amazing. One of the best Indian meals I have had. . The only thing that spoilt it a bit was a very loud group next to us but that can't be helped. We will definitely be going again. It's our new favourite .Thank you x
